This document is an adapted draft for Paramount Driving School based on the reference terms supplied. Replace every “( Updated Soon )” placeholder with your confirmed business details and have the final version reviewed for compliance with the laws that apply to your business before publication.
Paramount Driving School is a professional driver education provider. Throughout these terms and conditions, “Paramount Driving School”, “Paramount”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the business providing the relevant driving tuition, booking services and related training.
Where driving instruction is delivered by an individual instructor working with Paramount, that instructor may provide the tuition as an independent instructor or under an arrangement with Paramount. The driving lesson relationship, lesson delivery and instructor responsibilities will be governed by the booking made with Paramount and any applicable instructor arrangements.
To take driving lessons with Paramount Driving School, you must:
You are responsible for showing your instructor suitable evidence of your entitlement to drive before your first lesson. If you cannot provide the required evidence, the instructor may decline to begin or continue the lesson and any applicable cancellation or lesson charge may still apply.
Paramount Driving School may operate its website, booking channels and customer support services to allow customers to purchase driving lessons and lesson packages.
You, or a person paying on your behalf, may pre-pay for lessons using the payment methods made available by Paramount at the time of booking.
As part of our booking and pre-payment process, the following terms apply to pre-paid lessons:
Where a third party pays for lessons on behalf of a learner, the payment is treated as being made for that learner. The person making the payment does not automatically become the recipient of the driving tuition or acquire rights to the lessons solely because they made the payment. Any refund or cancellation entitlement will normally belong to the learner or customer in whose name the booking was made, subject to applicable law.
Paramount Driving School aims to handle eligible refunds fairly and transparently. Where you decide that you no longer wish to continue with a pre-paid lesson package, any refundable balance will be dealt with in accordance with the booking terms, cancellation rules and consumer rights that apply to your purchase.
For security, refunds will normally be returned using the same payment method originally used for the transaction. If that payment method is no longer available, Paramount may request reasonable information to verify your identity and the replacement payment details before processing the refund.
Any refund policy offered by Paramount applies only to money actually received by Paramount under the relevant booking. Payments made directly to an instructor may be subject to separate arrangements with that instructor.
Pre-paid lesson packages should be used within the validity period stated at the time of purchase. If no separate validity period is stated, the package will remain available for the period communicated by Paramount when the booking is made. Once a package expires, unused lessons may no longer be available for booking or refund except where required by law.
To request a refund or discuss a booking issue, please contact Paramount Driving School using the details published on our website.
You should only make driving lesson payments through the payment methods and booking channels officially provided by Paramount. Paramount does not accept responsibility for payments made through unofficial social media accounts, third-party sellers, auction websites or other unauthorised channels.
Where a booking or administration fee applies to a lesson package, the applicable amount will be shown during the booking process. Any non-refundable booking fee will be clearly identified before payment is completed.
Where Paramount introduces a charge for digital learning resources, secure online services or other technology-supported features, the applicable charge will be displayed before purchase. Where a qualifying refund is processed, any refundable digital service element will be handled in accordance with the applicable refund terms.
You and your instructor are responsible for agreeing the practical arrangements for each lesson, including the date, time, meeting point and duration, subject to the package purchased.
You must promptly tell your instructor about any issue that may affect your legal ability or suitability to receive driving tuition, including the expiry, suspension, loss or restriction of your driving entitlement.
An instructor may not be available at every time requested. Lesson availability depends on instructor schedules, vehicle availability, location and other operational factors. You remain responsible for agreeing and confirming lesson times with your instructor.
Lesson prices may vary according to location, lesson type, vehicle type, package, demand and other factors. A price shown for one booking or area may not automatically apply to another location or later booking.
Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, Paramount may update its lesson pricing from time to time. A price change will not normally alter the price of lessons that have already been fully purchased unless the booking terms specifically allow such an adjustment.
At least 48 hours’ notice should normally be given to your instructor if you need to cancel or rearrange a booked lesson.
Where a lesson is cancelled late, missed or rearranged without the required notice, Paramount or the instructor may charge the full lesson amount, subject to any consumer rights that apply.
If a transaction is disputed, Paramount may investigate the matter before releasing or allocating any disputed funds.
Pre-paid driving lessons are personal to the learner named on the booking and may not be sold, transferred or reassigned to another person without Paramount’s prior written approval.
Where an instructor accepts direct payment, the instructor will confirm the payment methods available. You should request and keep proof of payment.
Paramount is not responsible for a direct payment arrangement that was made outside the official Paramount booking and payment process, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
